Run-out systems and saws for tubes, bars and profiles


We supply modern run-out systems for the heavy and light metal industry which take over the extrusion immediately after it leaves the press and process it further. The requirements here are enormously variable. We adapt to a wide range of manufacturers and find the right concept for you. High temperatures and harsh industrial environments are common conditions for us.


Optimal solutions for puller and cooling bed

Depending on the product, the pressed product is taken over by a puller or it runs out of the press onto a roller table or a slat conveyor. The puller is very precisely controlled to ensure that even sensitive products can be extruded. The extruded product is then cooled down to room temperature on the cooling bed. This is designed as a classic eccentric lifting beam or pre-clocked in a rectangular movement. The extrusions can be pushed together as a package to achieve the best possible straightness. In the case of short extrusions, several can be placed one behind the other to make optimum use of the length of the cooling bed.

Further processing in the sawing unit

The cooled products are then fed into one of our high-performance layer saws to cut them into standard lengths. Our sawing systems impress with their robust, vibration-free construction and high drive power. We also pay great attention to comfort of operation and user-friendliness. For example, the entire saw carriage can be moved out of the frame for changing the saw blade. This ensures perfect ergonomics.

Perfect cuts even in layers

The saw is driven by an intelligent servo motor; just like the advance, which brings the energy into the product without any play by a ball screw drive. The result is fast rapid movements and constant cutting speeds. The most important thing here is the smart programming of the sawing system. Successful and long-lifetime in the press line is dependent on smart programming.

To ensure a low-burr cutting result, the products are clamped directly in front and behind the saw blade, both vertically and horizontally. Beforehand, the products are aligned by a length measuring stop. This ensures variable length adjustment and angular cuts. Furthermore, a cutting gap opening, minimum quantity lubrication and lowering function of the saw blade are part of the standard equipment.
